All new five stores of the UK-retailer WHSmith are completed at the Dusseldorf airport. Either a small 20m² store or a 180m² shop-unit at the landside, it was all part of the job.
WHSmith runs more than 600 city stores and 500 stores at different airports and train stations around the world. Founded in 1828, the company is the biggest chain retailer for books and newspapers in Great Britain. Dusseldorf is the first location in Germany and one of 50 airport stores in the world, where the company presents the products.
